Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5800 2.0GHz or AMD Athlon X2 QL-60 Dual Core 1.9GHz

is there a huge difference in speed? which of the 2 would i be better off getting? Yes i do play games and run multi programs at once so which ever could handle a bigger load of task would be prefered.

The Intel will trump the AMD. If you need the power get the Intel.

In my experience, Intel is always the best solution, now I and my husband use the product of Intel, it's fast and stable

AMD 1.9 is faster at gaming (1.9 for amd is almost 2.2 comparing to intel)
intel is great for watching videos and making them.

I don't know where you got that from, but that is wholly incorrect. Every AMD processor will perform worse than any intel processor in their class.

I see alot of fanboy bashing and shameless promoting but no one is saying anything about the specific cpus identified. how they preform next to each other. No one can tell me if there are any fundamental flaws with these chips either. TOTALLY USELESS . Please get off your fanboy soapboxes and give some real advice.
