I'm using an Windows Mobile (v. 6.0) device to connect to a secure site (HTTPS). Using Opera Browser everything is OK. Instead, using IE Mobile I cannot access the site. The browser display indefinitely the messagge "Searching" and nothing happens.
To understand better this issue, I tried a network snoop server side. Analyzing snoop, I observed a strange behaviour: after completing the TCP 3way handshaking, IE sends to server an unexpected packet containing flag [FIN, PSH, ACK]. This is seems a socket close request.
Can anyone help me to go deeper in the problem analisys?
Sounds to me like it could be a certificate related issue or it could be that mobile IE is out of date to the point where the secure site won't let it in. You could try updating IE to see if that fixes the issue, at least to start with.
