it says:

think i have to look for the nvidia driver 1st?

When replacing the video driver, boot up into the Safe mode (F8) first.
You can't replace the driver when the driver is in use. The Safe mode uses a Microsoft default video driver and not the NVIDIA driver; therefore making it easily replaced.

If you want, after booting into the Safe mode, you can use this (free) program to help you uninstall the video driver...
