How many types of response time are there? cuz i read that a lot of them are 2 ms which woudl be great for gaming but then a lot of people say that it is just gray to gray. So what is gray to gray , what is the normal response time mean, and how many "types" are there?

Although the article is technical, this page of it is pretty telling: http://www.tomshardware.com/2005/1 [...] age11.html

Bottom line is that the latency of an LCD drops precipitously when running from 50 (gray) to 255 (white). Most manufacturers only show the best number, but it's the numbers in-between that are often more important - these are what will determine how much blurring you may see during fast motion on a game or movie.
