USB memory stick suddenly not working

My 16 GB Centon memory stick I purchased @ Staples in Canada quit working & is not recognized in my computer under search. I have even installed the stick in another port on my computer & it is still not recognized.
I have installed other USB sticks in the same port on my computer & they work fine, I can even download onto them.

Try it in another computer.The do have unpredictable lifespans.
