Picked my 56" DLP based projection TV, and I love the picture. I have HD cable through component at 720P, Xbox 360 at 720P, and a Toshiba DVD with upscaling.

So, what's the problem. The Toshiba manual explicitly states to NOT hook up a computer to it!

What reason could that be? DLP aren't subject to burn in, according to dlp.com , and many lcd projectors for computer presentation are based on DLP. They don't forbid xbox or consoles in the manual, Just computers?

Any idea why?

What's the worst that could happen?

I should have known something was up when I couldn't find a spec for Native resolution to save my life.

It's this one: http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televi [...] el=56HM195

if anyone can offer any advice, I'd appreciate it. I'd love to be able to hook up my laptop to it from time to time.
