I've got a PNY Verto Geforce4 TI 4600 Card that looks like it has a missing surface mount chip cap. The SM area is labelled C1005. I'm almost positive there used to be a cap there because there is about a third of a centimeter of solder there but no chip.

The site of the surface mount cap is on the top part of the back of the card, labelled C1005.

Can anyone verify that a chip does belong there? And if so can anyone tell me what the value is? I don't have my reciept so I won't be able to cash in on the warranty. I'd like to repair it myself.

I sent in that same card cause i broke a cap off and they sent me a new GeforceFX 5900. Maybe you got my old card. If it is missing a component just call them and tell them it doesn't work and they should just send you a new one once you send the old one out.

ps. that's pretty [-peep-] up if you really did get my old card.

Btw, im pretty sure i needed a copy of my invoice to get the new card
