Driver Installation

So I changed my default installation path to my HDD instead of my SSD, but now when I update any drivers it installs them on the HDD. Could this affect anything? After I updated my video card's driver I've noticed it takes a really long time to load any right click menus

  1. First uninstall video card's driver, your screen will go larger due to standard drives.

Then clean the register, with CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/update?v=3.21.1767&l=1033

Re-start you PC, then install new drivers.
  2. Didn't help =/ I installed windows 7 to the SSD and all of the original drivers there also.

Do I have to change the default installation path back before I update drivers so they install there also or something?
