Hi,
I've been looking around for a set of wireless headphones. I've looked at some reviews but I still have hard time deciding which once are the best. I understand that there are different technologies out there, RF, IR, and Bluetooth. I could not find any reviews that compared one type to another. Does anyone have any experience with different types of headphones? I'm looking for a smaller receiver size and the best sound quality. The distance doesn't need to be more then 20 feet. Thanks.

I was just getting into a conversation about IR and RF with my friend on xfire today :P

IR is what most TV's use, along with the gameboy color, you will notice it by it's black square most of the time. You must be able to have line of sight for IR to work.

RF can work through walls, just take wifi as an example, or FM or AM radio, even you're tv antenna, or hand held radios, remote control cars.

I really have no idea about blue tooth though...without telling anyone anything, go to a couple stores and ask the sales associates what they think about the 3, and to compare and/or list the differences/pros/cons.

If you have a voice recorder that records over 5-10 minutes you can take it to an even higher level by reviewing what they said later.
