Hi, hope someone out there can can offer some input/info/links.

Planning stages for my new system, will be A64 3500+ or 3800+, with x800 or 6800 series graphics ( yes, it's purely a hi end game rig )... and my question is...
... I can buy 1 Gig of wizz-bang dual channel you-know-the-brand-names RAM, or I can buy 2 Gig of your common-or-garden variety, for about the same price.
Which will perform better in a socket 939 ( probably nForce3 ) system?
What about the 'issues' I see refered to about using more than 2 DIMM slots? Is this just a 'new socket' teething problem or do I have to plan my RAM around using only 2 slots?
I plan to have this system running synchronous at either 433 or 466 Mhz.
Would really appreciate any thoughts or comments, thanks.

For gaming purpose you wont see any performance increase with 2 gig over 1 gig.
A64 can be picky about memory so I suggest stickin with well known brand

Heres an article about the more than 2 stick issue(altough its not on S939...)

Better get some good quality memory at 1 gig than cheaper stuff IMO...
