Hello there, something I'm curious about... 
1) Does anyone have any idea what printing equipment is used in the production of posters - Movie posters, Band posters, World Atlas, Simpsons posters etc.
They all seem to have a slightly glossy look to them.
2) Aside from the large equipment that must be used to create something of their size, is there a difference between how the colour ends up on the paper using a standard home printer - because I would imagine ink costs to be sky high !
