I recently bought a dvd burner Plextor 712A(burn a dvd at 12x) but I can't find anywhere recordable dvds ta goes more then 4x. Where could I find recordable dvds that goes up to 12x. thanks

AFAIK there still isn't any media available yet (through retail channels anyway) that is designed to be 12x.

A big problem with DVD burners has been that media manufacturers can't keep up with the drive manufacturers. The same problem is happening with DL media and happened with 8x media at the start.

There are however quite a few 8x media types available. It all depends on where you live though (where do you live?).
I'm not that familiar with Plextor drives, but it might be possible to modify the firmware to allow writing at 12x on higher qulaity 8x media...

The Plextor will write some higher quality DVD 4x media at 8x - I don't know about 12x 'tho.

but i can burn my dvds at the speed i want so right now im burning them at 4x
