Hey folks, I'm back (and more annoying than ever?). Well after all my research I've decided to go for a laptop instead of a new desktop PC. I'm looking for something under $700 with a powerful processor (thinking Intel core 2 duo) and an all around good system. I'm not too concerned with screen size or gaming (would be nice but not a must). I've looked around quite a bit and I'm thinking of going with the Gateway M-6843. I like the processor, memory and price ($650 shipped). I know there's no firewire port but don't think that's gonna be a big deal for what I'll be doing with it. I'd love to hear what people have to say about it. Here's some specs and a link =http://www.tigerdirect.ca/app [...] atId=1891]. Thanks for anyone that took the time to read this.
