I am currently a senior in high school and I am looking for a laptop for next year. I have looked around on the internet for a decent laptop that isn't overly expensive. So far the thing that has caught my eye was the Gateway T-1631. It isn't too expensive and it has some bang for its buck.

1_What is your budget? Somewhere between $600-$800

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 14.1"-15.4"

3_What screen resolution do you want? 1280x1024, doesn't concern me a lot

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Both really

5_How much battery life do you need? Does not matter

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Probably the most graphically demanding game is Bioshock. I would prefer High, but I will settle for Medium

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing, surfing the web, playing music, watching movies, Etc.) Watching movies, surfing the web, playing music, editing video/music

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need? 250

9_If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post the links to them.

10_How long do you want to keep your laptop? Hopefully for a few years

11_If you would like to mention some other things about purchasing your ideal laptop, post them. I would prefer to have an AMD processor.

12_Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. Brands don't really concern me, as long as the product is good

13_What country do you live in? US
