Hi
What is the difference with CORSAIR-TwinxDual-Channel DDR400/1G 2X512, OCZ EL DDR PC-3200 / 400MHz / Platinum / Dual Channel 2X512 and 2*MAJOR 512MB DDR 400Mhz?

I don't understand why there is a difference of prize with those memories even if it is the same FBS, the same size(1GB) and all DDR. How can we know which mark is the best? Thanks

EL means Enhanced Latency, EL series generally supports lower latencies. You should be comparing Corsair's TwinX PC3200LL (low latency) when you do price comparisons.

For one thing, I've never heard of Major, which means they are either a new seller or (more likely) a generic ass-brand. Corsair or OCZ are pretty reliable and trustworthy, and you're probably guaranteed you won't be dealing with some overworked customer service rep in Jakarta if you have problems with them.

OCZ is good and is usually cheaper than Corsair in quebec and will perform about the same.
