Choice over 2 laptops

Hi, I'm a complete technophobe, however my 5 year old Dell paperweight is on it's last legs and therefore I'm looking to upgrade... to either an Acer Aspire 5735 from http://www.kikatek.com/product_inf [...] s_id=84715

They'd be mainly used for the internet, but occasionally messing around on low-end games or fiddling with photos.

Portability doesn't really bother me its just it has to be this sort of price range and these looked about the best, but like i said, I'm a technophobe and computers and I have a tempestuous relationship...

Any help on deciding between the 2 would be greatly appreciated
