I have a Toshiba Satellite with a non working keyboard. Works fine with a USB k/b. My boss has the same laptop with a working k/b. We swapped k/b's and my keyboard works fine on his and his does not work on mine. I tried it with Linux - does not work. I booted up in safe mode with command prompt - does not work. I did a fresh install of XP and still have the same results - nothing. I haven't done anything with the BIOS. Also, the light under the F10 key comes on as soon as I hit the power button. Thanks for you time. Joe
