All of a sudden my WinXP Pro is highlighting multi files to be opened. If if
click lower on the screen all files above are highlighted. How do I stop
this from happening? thanks

You may have a Shift key sticking.

> thaniks ron that is what it was there is a feature in Win called sticky key hit the left shift 5 times and it turns on or off.
