Greetings from the silicon forest!

I need to purchase a USB/paralel external CDR/CDRW to backup multiple NT 4.0 systems via ghosting. Several of the systems are not USB 2.0 compatible, some may even not have USB at all! Here are my questions.

1. Is it safe to assume that all USB 2.0 drives are backward compatible with USB.. 1.0?

2. Can anyone recommend a good, quality, drive that can interface with USB, and paralel ports?

Any advice is much appreciated!

1.) Yes, but burning speeds are limitted by USB 1.0/1.1.
2.) I can't.

I guess that means I'll have to do the shopping myself. Thanks for the USB info.
