I'm thinking of getting a new laptop and i was wondering... should i get an 18.4" hp with core 2 duo t9600 (2.8 Ghz), 4 gigs of ram(it says DDR3 and the OS is 64 bit vista for you random people), a 1gb 9600m gt (ddr3 im pretty sure), 2x500 gb hard drives ( in raid for a total of 1tb), and a blu ray super multi drive for around 2400
OR
a 17" dell with a core 2 duo@ 2.4ghz, 4gb of ram ( 32 bit D, 2 8700 gt's, 500 gb hard drive, and a blu ray burner for 2849
all BEFORE tax and shipping
the main question is, are the 2 video cards worth the buttload fo cash and lower specs everywhere else and yes i will be playing games on it ( not crysis lol)
i want to have this laptop for a year
i will play games like Left 4 dead, command and conquer 3, and Fallout3 ( for fallout 3 i want to be medium settings) the others i want to be on high with no AA

well i went to sager's website and teh 5796 is not listed, so i googled it. when i found it on their site i went to it and it starts at 18790 dollars! none of the others are that expensive, even the newer models.
so with the 5797 i would be looking at
intel core 2 duo t9550 (2.66 ghz)
9800M GTX
500 gb hard drive
Blu-ray Player
4gb RAM
however, it is just out of my range at 2500 ;(
if anyone else has any better deals, please reply

the thing is, all the other CPU's have an extremely small cache, and arent as fast as i would like. if it really comes down to it, i will though. im getting the feeling that in just a week or 2 the price will come on down ;P
