Hi everyone,

a have Fujitsu Siemens Amilo La 1703. Something went wrong with the monitor. In the middle of work monitor screen suddenly started to crackle like electrical wave and then started to fade, finally the screen was black.

Anyone have idea what is wrong? It is dead or maybe is something with the connection cables?

If you are speaking of the LCD screen on the laptop... then the backlighting on the lcd screen has probably took a dive...... but the good news is ... you can plug a regular computer monitor into it and use it.... but the bad news is If you still get no display after you plug a monitor into it ... there's a good chance that the video chip has taken a dive and it is time to replace the laptop.....
