Hello,
i am having p2 i want use pendrive in it. is there any cable to connect ide port to usb or any other solution?

P2 as in a Pentium 2 computer? Depending on the operating system and ports available you may be able to buy a usb card, although I think those only come in PCI slots, a P2 would not have any of those.

i know that there is an option through pci slot, but most of hardware service men say it does not works, thats why am asking another solution? reply if pci works with p2 or any other solution.

A PCI add-one board for USB will work, if the operating system you are using supports it. You'd need Windows 98 at least for decent USB support.

Easiest thing is to get a newer computer, a used Pentium 4 system will be a dozen + times faster and won't cost more than $60 if you look around even with a gig or more of RAM.

Considering that you need to buy a USB card anyway to use, it's a lot better to upgrade the PC.
