I think i'm in the correct forum so here is my problem. we have a Canon ImageRunner 3200 printer/scan/copier at my work it works fine and we have all of the menus that we are supposed to have, we can setup the IP settings alright.
Here is the problem one of our other offices (not close by) has an IR 3200 as well but this one doesn't allow you to access the IP settings and we need to reset the IP and default gateway for it since its in the range that is resurved for workstations.

We have tryed to access it remotely it does not alow any access to the remote UI from outside its segment of the network, trying from its print server we done get all the options displaying on the Remote UI.

We sent someone over to the printer to do it through the control Panel on the unit and discuvered that it doesn't have the options for changing the IP address/subnet mask/default gateway there either.
I don't have a complete set of manuls and canon has no manuals for download so i'm at a loss for what is causeing it.

I'm trying to get in touch with the people that installed it in the first place but that is dificult given the time zone diferences.
I would ask anyone that has experience with these printers to please respond as this has been going on for about a week now.
[edit]
It appears that it is connected to Fiery unit. Any thoughts since the one in my office is not.
