Hi. I have recently received a new pc and ever time I start it up I get an error message that the bios is not installed. Well it is and I have narrowed it down to the on board raid controller is not detecting a raid array and posting the message. My question is how do I disable it. I went into the bios and could not find a disable raid option; in fact I could find no mention of raid at all. My mobo is a soltek sl-865-gr.

If it is not an option in the BIOS then I can't think of a way you could disable it...although there MAY be a Jumper of the Motherboard to disable the RAID. I had the same "problem", but I could disable the Promise RAID from the BIOS.

It doesn't really effect your system though, don't worry if you can't disable it.
