when i bought i realized after the fact that the max refresh rate at 1280X1024 is 80hz

i usually run at 85hz

will this strain my eyes or is 80hz plenty flicker free?

thanks people.

i can return it to compusa if I want, haven't got it yet in the mail.

I don't know. Here's a way to check for yourself though: you could lower the resolution, which would probably allow higher refresh rates. Then you could compare 80hz with 85hz. However, this is a different resolution and may have the black stripes that show up at low resolutions... so I don't know if this is the best solution to try it out.
