No picture only sound on hitachi plasma 50

hitachi plasma has sound but no picture. 50PD

How are you physically connected between the PC and the HDTV (VGA, HDMI, etc)?

do you have the correct cable connected to the correct input and do you have the correct input selected on the plasma?

have you tried turning off the plasma with the computer on and connected, for a couple minutes, and then turning it on and selecting the correct input?

if it with dvd and reg tv too. take a flashlight and see if the backlight or the blub on the tv went bad. some large tv still use a main blub.
