Hi,

I just got Windows XP to work on my laptop after a ton of problems to get it to work. Now, I decided I want to go back to Windows Vista because I am having problems getting it to work the way I want. I left the recovery partition intact, and I tried using the restore DVD that came from Gateway. It installed Vista....but only baseline installation, and nothing else. I want to know how to get it back to like it was from the factory settings, as I am figuring that other software is in the Recovery partition, but I guess I am doing something wrong to get to it.

Does anyone have any advice on getting this to work?
