Hi, I have an ATI Sapphire x1950xtx with 2 DVI inputs and a HannsG HU196D monitor, i wanted to know what sort of DVI cable I should get, the monitor supports DVI-D according to the manufacturers website, but I don't know about the graphics card, I also dont' know what sort of connectors they are i.e male or female would a normal DVI-D to DVI-D cable work?

Male connectors have pin/pins and female connectors have hole/holes, Under the oddest circumstances should your video card and tv are different. I'm 100% positive it uses female jacks. and you would need the male cables on anything you connect at the back of that TV except the power cord and it is due to safety.

Check your TV requirement for what DVI connector it should get from this example.DVI PINS
