Installation question...

Is it necessary to disable onboard sound from the mobo prior to installing a sound board? Will it cause any conflicts if I don't disable the onboard sound support?

Hi,
If you are not planning on using the on-board sound capabillities of your motherboard by using a Soundcard, then always disable on-board sound.
