I was wondering if you could help me choose a laptop. I've got a way to get a decent price on a Sony laptop, and can't choose between two that I've narrowed it down to.
First up, there's the BZ560P34. This has a T9400, 3 gigs of RAM and a 250gb drive.
Secondly, there's the BZ560N24. This has a P8400, 2 gigs of RAM and a 160gb drive.
Aside from that, they're functionally the same, same size and everything.
I can get the first for $1297, and the second for $881. Is there any point paying the $416 for the better version or is the improvement not enough to justify the cost?
Or are there any other suggestions? I'd like to stick within the Z, SR, or BZ series as I can get an extra battery for free with those, and both the Z and SR are a little under the size I want, but I'm open to other Sony laptops.
Nothing intense, websurfing, listening to music, and some programming. The toughest thing it needs to run is an IDE as well as Expression Studio (which isn't tough at all). But would the better chip make those activities noticeably better?
