Hi there

The problem I have with my windows 7 laptop is that I made a new partition and then tried to install debian on it using Unetbooting from a flash drive.
There was a issue when the debian partition manager said it couldnt do it.
Now I have a error message saying no operating system found.

Please help me on this or redirect me to another article

Many thanks

Hi

you will probably need access to another PC with Internet access and a Windows 7 System Recovery Disc

(there are 2 versions for 32 bit & 64bit Windows 7)

If you do not have access to a Windows 7 PC with same bit version of Windows 7 you can download them at link below
(Home, Pro Ultimate is not important just same 32 or 64 bit version)

http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/windows-7-system-repair-discs/

This can help put back the Windows 7, MBR & boot manager

Or use genuine Windows 7 DVD if available

It may require a few cycles to complete the repairs

best of luck

Its not that because I have checked the drive in a drive bay on my desktop and the files are still there

Thanks for the comment though.
