My lcd is around 1 yr old. The past few weeks is takes around 5 min or so after I turn it on for an image to show. The screen remains black until then. Is this a sign of a dieing moniter?

its absolutly shouldn't take that long and it night be a sign for a dieing monitor
there is probably a problem with the fluorescent light because it should work fork like 50000 hours before it says bye bye...
