Hey guys,

a friend of mine asked me to find her a notebook.

Her only requierments were that it needed to be fast and that she has to be able to work fast with applications like AVID, photoshop etc...

now i was looking at this laptop: Toshiba Satelite A300-1M9 http://forcom.be/?product=304428

is this a good buy for her?

the graphic board is a ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 3470, wich is supposed to be not bad.


imo this laptop can do all that she wants and is pretty reasonable in price.

What's your opinions?

She won't really benefit from the GPU unless she's gaming.

It's a fine notebook, but the screen resolution is really low for photo editing, and the CPU is pretty weak for video editing. Look for something more along the lines of 1680x1050 and 2.5GHz dual core.

myeah, im trying but for the prize of under 800€ it seems difficult to find something like that...
