Just out of reference, the 940B has a real response time of 15-35ms with it being around 35ms and 22ms most of the time. No idea, what the real response time is on the Westinghouse.
One thing you might want to check is the size of the pixels on these monitors... and see if the "screen door" effect is too noticeable on them.
BTW, have you considered the 20" Samsung 204b? If you do pixel image editing, the 8-bit panel would be helpful. It's real response time is 10-30ms with it being 20ms most of the time.
If speed is a little more important, here's a few models. Best Buy might have the VX922. These are probably all 6-bit though:
VX922 5-10ms
VP191b 12-15ms
Samsung 930BF 5-10ms
Viewsonic VX924 5-12ms
NEC 90GX2 2-20ms with 8ms most of the time
Thanks, the one on sale friday is actually the 931BW at best buy. Did you research the real response times of these monitors? or is there someother calculatable way to know, right off the bat, like when I am looking at one in store?
