More about local connection crash shuting power
  1. 64bit Driver installed? What does the device manager say?
  2. It could be that you still need to install the drivers for your motherboard, especially your ethernet card.

There's still alot out there that a Standard Windows installation doesn't support out of the box.
  3. Also checkin bios or Windows driver that you do not have green ethernet enabled, if no cable is connected during boot, it will disable network card to conserve power.
  4. i can activate the ethernet by installing drivers EVERY TIME i power up but i dont want it.
and how can i install my motherboard drivers?
    and what is chiken bios?
