I have a file in my printer queue (start/settings/printer) that didn't
print. So I deleted it. Now for the last 6 hours the printer queue shows it
as "deleting." It's a pdf file. I've tried to print other files; they just
stack up behind it and won't print. I can delete those files from the queue.

I've rebooted and turned to printer off and back on.

I'm networked to my printer. Other computers on the network print fine. The
computer that I can't print from has access to the other computer and the
Internet via the network.

I'm using Win XP on both computers. The printer is an HP OfficeJet 5510 or
something like that.

I went through the XP printer troubleshooter. It found the printer and the
network adapter.

Any ideas?
thanks; Kozmo

I have the same network situation and I get this problem all the time.

Why don't the jobs print in the first place?

Your suggested solution may well work, but it is not acceptable in my situation.

Are we users doing something wrong, or is network printing flawed?
