I am wanting to upgrade from a Samsung 19" CRT to an LCD. I predominantly use the PC for web-surfing and gaming (never for watching movies). I have a PNY 6800GS 256Mb video card. I have the following questions I need help with:

1. Is size all that really matters? Is bigger better? I sit about 2 feet from the screen. I like the idea of a 22" WS, but would it be simply too big for my purposes?
2. 'Regular 4:3" or "16:9 WS"? Answer to this may be linked with question 1?
3. The monitors I have in mind are: Samsung 225BW, Samsung 931C, Samsung 204B, NEC 90GX2.....whadya think?

Sometimes there really is TOO much choice.....help!!!

Well, you've got quite a mix there.

1. If you're going to continue to view from such a close distance, the 22" might seem like watching TV from too close.

2. The 931C and 90GX2 have the same size pixel, but the GX2 has a Brite [glossy] screen. You should view in person before buying.

3. The pixels on the 204B are the smallest (UXGA), so viewing from a close distance might be best on it.
