Hi guys,
I'm currently having the below specs:

Zebronics 450w PSU
AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+
2 GB DDR2 RAM
ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard
NVIDIA 8400GS
Zebronics case

I want to know whether all my above hardware would support Windows 7 64bit....state reason if not...
Or should I go for 32bit version...

On paper it should because it's running on a 64-bit processor, which is the bare minimum you need to run a 64-bit Operating System. However, because of the aged components and the low amount of memory I would stick to 32-bit.

Ok I am going to upgrade my PC by adding 2 more gigs of RAM and using 9800gt nvidia card which I recently got.
So should I stick with my XP 32bit or upgrade to Win 7 32bit or 64bit?
My main purpose is gaming.

If your not using math intensive programs your better off sticking with the 32 bit setup. The only real advantage 64 bit has, you can read over 4GB of RAM, if your system can't handle any more then 4GB RAM it's not worth upgrading to 64 imo.
