i have hp pavilion ze5250,i instaled windows vista on it,now i want to instal windows xp,but it gets restart in setup on hardisk options.pls tell me some solution

you need a license for xp and xp discs.

Do you mean that XP setup cannot detect your hard disks?

Also, I feel I should inform you that, unless you need some specific program or something to use on XP, downgrading is a mistake. Vista is now a better OS than XP.
