i bought a dell inspirion 1521 and a girl that wanted to buy it cheaper put a password on it now i can not get in HELP!!!!

Can you elaborate? Put a password on the bios... on the start sequence, or just on your main windows user. If its the last one just boot up under safe mode use the admin account, and delete the password. When you do this everything in your user account's my documents folder will likely be erased.

it is on the wondow user name is dumbasss and under the spot where you type in your password it says hint jereme. I was able to go into setup and i set all the other pass words . but i guess my adminisr pass word dose not over ride the window user password because it was entered first so it is just on the window user

i do not know how to do that (start in safe mode)

you need to format and re-install the xp then the drivers but you lose data.
there are some CDs that you can download that remove passwords but you pay for them. about $20 or £10

press f8 when you boot the computer, then choose safe mode. Once you load windows, a new username will appear thats called administrator. Login using that user, leaving the password blank, unless you installed windows and set an administrator password. Then you can go to user accounts and delete the password.

Thanks for everyones help the crazy broad started threating me so i called the cops , they made her give up the pass word then hauled her off to jail!
