I managed to enable CMSS for my SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Digital. Only problem is my rear speakers get distorted very badly. Sound does come out through the centre speaker, but at the expense of the rear speakers.

Is this just me or is this a normal problem with SoundBlaster Live!?

My onboard sound played music through all 5 speakers effortlessly. I was considering a Phillips Sonic Edge, seeing this many problems with my Live! card, I'm thinking of refunding and getting the phillips.

With all the technology creative label on the box all I want is sound (good sound) from all 5 speakers. Is that too much to ask?
