I am running Win XP Home - build 2600.xpsp2_sp2_gdr05031-1519: Service Pack
2
This is an OEM edition on a Dell XPS Gen 5 Pentium 4 3.8 GHz
My problem - when I reboot I get this message:

"Windows - Registry Recovery

one of the files controlling the system Registry data had to be recovered by
use of a log or alternative copy. The recovery was successful"

I press OK and all is well - until next boot - same message.

I am pretty sure that Norton Go Back 4.02(?) is the culprit. Everything was
fine with 4.0, but upgrading raised havoc. Norton Go Back is no longer on
machine - System Restore is now turned on. I did a search for the situation
and saw several articles that led me to believe I could get in real trouble
messing with the registry. I knew I would get good solid suggestions here -
always have.

Thanks in Advance,
Bill
