ACER Laptop Virus

Last response: in Windows 7

It appears a virus has taken my laptop.
I need to restore it without CDs.
My Norton's is out of date but indicates it has blocked it (from any further damage, idk?)
Anyway, I did the ALT F12 thing and noticed the boot from network was disabled.
I enabled it but don't know if it made it worse because now I'm getting another error message as follows:
"C:Users\LovertoDance\appdata\Roamingmediafider\sett.crg". Access is denied.
I'm also getting the following messages:
I was getting this File Recovery message telling me there were 7 problems but now it won't even show that.
It states This device cannot find enough free resources it can use.

Hi :)

Firstly a system restore, will probably NOT get rid of the virus...

Run a Full Malwarebytes scan, and a full Norton Internet security 2012 scan...

All the best Brett :)

a lot of good anti virus programs like nortons/avast/avg have free boot floppy/cd/usb stick images on there web pages. if not hirem boot cd has few anti virus that will run from the boot cd. the other way is booting into safe mode..removing nortons and see if you can install another anti virus software and update from a usb stick.
