Hello,
I have an MN500 and I can access the internet via the
desktop which is ethernet but not on my laptop. I create a
profile on the laptop for the wireless network, and I get
a green signal stating I am connectec, however my IP is
still at the OS default. When I use IPCONFIG and renew it,
it states te DHCP server was unreachable, and the base
station management tool does not list the device, I have
even tried registering the MAC address, and nothing has
changed. I have ran the utility a million times....anyone
have any thoughts on this?

On the TCP/IP properties, it should be set to obtain an IP
from the server. Alternative set IP to 192.168.2.1, mask
255.255.255.0, gateway and DNS 192.168.2.1.

Otherwise, check that you can ping the base station at
192.168.2.1 If this does not work the wireless connection
is not working -- check the channel, SSID, WEP key, key
length, and key type are the same on both the router and
wireless card. Also make sure SSID broadcasts are enabled
on the router.
