How do I start automatically a program after turning on the PDA. In fact, I want that the PDA be dedicated only to run a particular program (surveys data entry) and nothing else.
How do I do that? Help please

What kind of PDA are you working with? What version of WinMo are you working with?

Perhaps an app like this?:

It seems that in order to manually enter a program into the startup folder requires a registry "hack" or edit. I think an app like this though would do the job just fine.

I will try your suggestion first thing in the morning.

Let us know how it turns out. I'm curious to see if the app works out as well.

I was able to include the link to my program in the "stat up" folder and now when I start the PDA it goes directly to the screen program. However, I would like this to happen also when the user turn the screen off and turn it on again and when the user close the program for the day (it should come to the initial program screen.
The start up manager utility has no help built in, it may have other possibilities but I do not know how to use it.
Thanks.

I'm not sure if that is possible. I'll do a bit of looking around and get back to you if I find anything.
