The ACC

I know thie may lead to some serious flaming, but i have to see your thoughts on this...6 teams in the top 25 and 3 in the top 4.

I like all the ACC teams and i rally behind them, but when the chips fall i have to pick UNC over everyone.

I just hope the ACC doesn't get robbed like last year and they get 8teams in the Big Dance

I was obviously talking about BASKETBALL, because the ACC is a joke in football.
And the preseason ranking just came out.
and all of what i said about 3 in the top 4 and 6 in the top 25 doesn't make sense for football.

So did 7 other teams. And how many of those were from the ACC?

Gonzaga, right next to where i was born, has 3,200 kids in the entire university. And they ONLY play bad teams so the fact they can turn it up to play well is something amazing.

Your right it sounds suspicious but when you take out the top 5 teams that would be right when Kentucky is.
Granted Kentucky could play the bottom of the ACC competitively and maybe i overstated it.

We'll see if Duke, MD, and NC State can step up and if UNC, Wake, and G-tch can hold expectations. I think one will probably fall off the charts but one will step up huge to the top.


You wanna make a friednly wager on the national title going to someone in the ACC? you take the field.

Md i root for because they are in the ACC but they can chew on my dingleberries. They have the most obnoxious fans who insult everyone as if they are title contenders every year.
G-tech and wake will turn some heads even though they aare ranked high. I expect HUGE seasons from both.
NC State has some decent players but they have to show me somehing still.

btw...Washington being ranked in the top 25? How random is that? I live 15miles from capmus its a shocker to me.

The Acc has been dissapointing this year. NC St has decided to be really bad and outside fo the top 6 nobody is stepping up to fill out the ranks
UNC, DUKE, Wake, GT, MD are locks fot the tounry but the rest have been slackers.

We will see in March is i have any humble pie to eat.
if it comes down to an all ACC final 4 i dont care if only 4 teams make it. that shows something. Then again if its an all SEC final 4 it also shows something. So we will stil have to wait and see.

i will say i am slightly more nervous about it.

I'm saying that when one looks at their record, what they've done lately (lost 6 of 9?) and their remaining schedule, they hardly seem like a lock. You seem to the the only person I've seen that doesn't consider them on the bubble. ESPN, CNN, even the AJC.
