Hi,
I need to get access to the advanced phoenix bios menu on the Toshiba 1700-300.
By default on boot it just states press F2 but that just gives you a restricted bios menu.

Any help much appreciated.

That's not 'how it is', there is definitely an advanced bios menu option!

Does anyone actually have the answer please?

Compaq has a disk that opens the bios for setting. There is also a disk that will allow you to install the advanced bios menu. Get it from the compaq website.

This should be the right link.

Hi, Thanks for posting, much appreciated.

Will this software work on a toshiba laptop though?

Likely not. I suggest you contact Toshiba about it.
