This happened only a few days ago..

An Lcd monitor turns out to be defective after a few hours of use. The problem is quite common for Lcds; this company handles RMA by phone.

- Could you please describe the problem?
- There's an "always lit" cyan line, from the top to the bottom of the screen, and one pixel wide.
- *Sniggering* "One pixel wide"? That can't be.. A pixel is a dot, it has no dimensions, it has no width. You can't say a line is one pixel wide.
- ...
- Really, that doesn't make sense.. A pixel has no width.
- Ehr.. Let's just say it's a thin line..
