My wife wants a digital camera for christmas and I don't know much about them in general. She likes the more compact one's that you carry in your purse or pocket. Any help or links would be appreciated. Looking to purchase this before christmas.

This F10 Finepix maybe more than what you would spend but that'll give you an idea of other camera's review. And hope that site will help you narrow it down to what you wanted.
