I just got the logitech z-5300's and of course the wires are to short for what i had planned. I was wondering what the best placement as far as hight and distance from sitting area around my pc would be best? Would putting the rears about 8-10ft behind me and on the wall be to far back espically since the fronts will be so close? (compared to rears) any suggestions would be great.

I'm not sure if puting the rear at that distance is good. 3-5 feet would be a ok for rear setup and if you can place all the speaker at ear level or if not, direct the speakers to where you are seating.

I put 3 graphics equalizer (15 dollars garage sale) on my installation and my friend is extremely please that she sold her home stereo system the following week when she had her garage sale.
